• This cordless  comes equipped with a 36-Volt lithium ion interchangeable battery pack that gives you approximately one hour of vacuuming per charge. The battery pack keeps the vacuum working at full power throughout the entire run-time and you can easily swap out low batteries with a freshly charged battery pack. The batteries have a handy battery charge gauge feature which allows you to know exactly how much charge is left in your battery. Extra batteries should be kept on hand for big jobs, as the batteries take about two and a half hours to fully charge. 

  
  The 8.5 AMP motor comes with motor protection, and is quiet at a decibel rating of under 70. It comes with a one-year warranty and has earned a Silver Carpet and Rug Institute Seal of Approval. This backpack vacuum cleaner also comes with a plethora of attachments. There are 3 carpet tools, a bare floor tool, dusting brush, upholstery tool and crevice tool. It utilizes a paper bag, HEPA media filtration system. 
  
  The backpack straps are ergonomic and anatomically shaped, with aluminum stays that direct weight to the contoured hip belt, increasing stability. These features are proven to balance pack weight for optimal comfort. The backpack vacuum also comes equipped with CleanMaxx’s patented Aircomfort System, which allows air to escape from three sides, reducing wearer perspiration by up to 25 percent. The Deuter Aircomfort harness system offers five adjustments, ensuring an individualized fit. The Vari-Quick System, shoulder straps, hip belt, sternum straps and stabilizers can all be adjusted to suit your unique needs. 
  
  In order to wear the backpack vacuum, adjust the Vari-Quick height adjuster to your back length, then loosen all the straps and place the vacuum on your back. Place the hip belt over your hip and connect the buckle and pull the straps forward to tighten the belt. Pull the shoulder straps down to tighten the backpack on your shoulders, but don’t make it too tight - the bulk of the weight of the vacuum should be on the hip belt. Adjust the sternum strap on a comfortable part of your chest and close the strap, then loosen or tighten stabilizer straps as needed. Make final adjustments before attaching the extension wand to the hose and fitting accessories to the wand, then turn the vacuum on (the toggle switch can be found on the lower housing).
